WLA 2024 Regular Season Webcasting

Burnaby, BC, May 16, 2024 – The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) is pleased to announce that all 2024 regular season and playoff games will be streamed live on WLA TV.

“The WLA saw record growth in streaming viewership of WLA games in 2023 and we’re thrilled to partner once again with PlayFullScreen, the official webcaster of the WLA, to deliver our games to fans across the country,” said WLA Commissioner Paul Dal Monte.

Fans can purchase single games or 5-game packages on wlalacrosse.com for $9.95 and $39.95 respectively, however, for fans that purchase 5-game packs prior to June 1st, they can do so for just $34.95!

The WLA season is scheduled to begin Thursday May 23rd when the Burnaby Lakers visit defending WLA Champions, New Westminster Salmonbellies at historic Queen’s Park Arena. The Lakers return to Bill Copeland Arena Friday May 24th when they will host the Coquitlam Adanacs, while in Victoria, the Shamrocks will host the Langley Thunder at the Q Centre.

May 23: New Westminster vs. Burnaby at Queens Park Arena;

May 24: Burnaby vs. Coquitlam at Bill Copeland Arena;

May 24: Victoria vs. Langley at The Q Centre;

May 25: Coquitlam vs. Nanaimo at Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex;

May 26: Maple Ridge vs. Victoria at Cam Neely Arena;

May 29: Langley vs. New Westminster at the Langley Events Centre;

June 1: Nanaimo vs. Maple Ridge at Frank Crane Arena.

The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) is an amateur men’s Senior A box lacrosse league, sanctioned by Lacrosse Canada. The WLA consists of seven teams based in cities throughout southwestern British Columbia, playing an 18-game schedule from late May to the end of July. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the right to compete against the Major Series Lacrosse (Ontario) champion for the Mann Cup. The championship is hosted alternately between Ontario and British Columbia every September.
